This pilot-operated way pressure reducing valve is capable of limiting secondary circuit system pressure by reducing it to the desired level. The main valve, equipped with a control spool, works in tandem with a pilot control valve featuring adjustable pressure settings to manage flow and pressure effectively. In its initial open position, the 3DR16P4-5X/200Y/00M allows unrestricted flow from channel P to channel A, while the pressure in channel A acts on a piston counterbalanced by a compression spring. The intricate design includes a nozzle that applies pressure to the spring-loaded side of the control spool and a ball in the pilot control valve that responds to compression spring settings.
This interaction ensures that fluid flows consistently until the set pressure threshold is reached, prompting the ball to open and adjust the spool position accordingly.
